So I arrived back from London yesterday and I am definitely feeling the jet lag! After forcing myself to stay awake as long as I could (I almost made it to 10:) ) I finally crashed out, only to wake up 4 hours later feeling ready for the day, despite the fact that it was only 2AM. Slightly inconvenient, as I knew I'd feel like crashing out in the early afternoon but I also relish the opportunity to work before the rest of the city, with its numerous distractions, is up. I'm much more productive that way!

September was a whirlwind month filled with travel (Japan/UK/Italy posts coming soon), they were amazing trips but I am looking forward to a few weeks at home, sleeping in my own bed and cuddling with my dogs (I can't stand being away from them for so long!). Another thing I'm looking forward to is catching up on my favorite shows, like House of DVF. Have you been watching it? I'm obsessed with all things Diane.  She has the most interesting life story (if you haven't already, you must read her book) and of course, I love her designs.  They are truly perfect for the 'girl on the go' as they're easy to pack, they're comfortable, and they're appropriate for a multitude of situations without ever  being boring.

I had the amazing opportunity to attend the DVF Seduction Fall 2015 Runway show during Singapore Fashion Week in May and have been not so patiently waiting for the fall collection to hit stores ever since so that I can finally pick up a few of my favorite pieces, like this elegant coat  and this vampy cocktail dress .  There is also a leopard print satchel that I'm dying to get my hands on, it hasn't been released in stores yet but when it does, it will be going straight into my basket!

In the meantime, I'm still enjoying the DVF pieces I already own, I don't think I'll ever tire of her timeless designs.  The dress I'm wearing above is the New Jeanne style in Large Twig, which is one of her most iconic 70s prints that was brought back to stores a few years ago as part of a special heritage collection.  It is still available online along with a few other reissued prints that I'm dying to get my hands on!

Are you a DVF fan? What's on your fall  shopping list?
