When we made the decision to move from Mid Levels to Pok Fu Lam, my husband and I were worried that we'd feel isolated living farther out (in all honestly, its only 15 minutes away but that's basically another state to us spoiled Hong Kongers!). We quickly realized, we'd been worried for no reason at all. Some of the coolest spots in Hong Kong are popping up outside of Central, in up and coming neighborhoods like Kennedy Town, which is right next door to us! Our favorite spot is a little bodega called Sunday's Grocery. They make the most amazing take away sandwhiches, fresh vegetables "chips" and hummus. They also carry a well curated assortment of international products that can't be found anywhere else in town. It's become a weekend ritual for us to wake up late, walk our dogs into Kennedy Town for brunch then stop at Sunday's to stock on our favorites, like Sriracha (they're the only place in town that carries it!).
Have you explored the Kennedy Town food scene? What are your favorites?
